HOLIDAY SCENTS

Sunday, 29 November 2015

hello everyone hope you are well..i am all good and so ready for the holidays..i am sure you are also excited that Christmas is just round the corner..the weather here is great , not hot  not humid but slightly cold..i am taking full advantage of the weather.

today's blogpost is about one of the simplest diys , simmering potpourri..i love simmering potpourri around this time of the year..they make my house filled with holiday scents and get me into the holiday spirit..while i am writing this my house smells delicious as a potpourri is simmering..i love how they also act as natural humidifier..all i do is add water as the water dries..i am totally into two concoctions..the first one is a mixture of apples, oranges, cinnamon sticks and clove..the second is a mix of oranges, cinnamon and star anise..so simple yet yum scent..they are great gifts too, quick and inexpensive..i also reuse them by refrigerating in between uses..do you like simmering potpourri? i would be glad if you share your favorite concoction and i would love to try them out.
